A VanHome installation usually is done within a day. It ranges anywhere from 2 hours to 8 hours.
The time it takes to install a VanHome varies depending on the model you select and the site that the VanHome is being installed on. Here are the average times of installation on our 3 types of models:
- Studio Model = 2 hours
- Single Expanding Model = 6 hours
- Double Expanding Model = 8 hours
The above times are based purely on our time spent Installing the VanHome and do not include variables specific to your site. Here are some variables that may impact the time it takes to install a VanHome:
- Travel Time: This is the time it takes for us to travel from our factory in Somersby NSW to your address. You can calculate the travel time from our factory to your address using Google Maps. If your site is located within 1.5 hours from our factory at Somersby NSW, then we aim to be at your site by 7:30 am.
- VanHome Positioning: This is the time it takes for us to manoeuvre the VanHome into position. The time for this can vary depending on the accessibility of your site. Providing that we have clear access on your site, we will have the positioned within 5min-30mins, see the link for more information regarding Accessibility requirements.
- Site Gradient: If your site is not flat and there is a gradient in the land, then additional time is required when levelling the VanHome. This additional time can vary from 1-3 hours, see link for more information regarding Site Gradient requirements.
- Site Firmness: If your site is not firm solid ground, then additional time is required when levelling the VanHome. This additional time can vary from 1-3 hours, see link for more information regarding Site Firmness requirements.
