VanHome Power

Each VanHome will come with 15amp inlets allowing you to connect all your appliances and air conditioning.

Power Inlets

Your VanHome will have two 15amp inlets:

  1. Power outlets and lights.
  2. Dedicated inlet for an air-conditioning unit, should you choose to have one installed.
Note: If you have selected Electric appliances that draw more than the 15amp allocated, you will need to get a licensed electrician to hardwire the whole van or individual appliances.
If you selected our Premium Range, the built-in ovens the current rating is under the 15amp, but other additional appliances e.g. electric HWS, electric cooktop etc. can put the current rating over 15amps.
The other alternative to overcome this is to select gas appliances, which would avoid having to hardwire any appliances.
If you have selected our Standard Range, you must make the selection of GAS cooktop and oven to avoid having to hardwire the freestanding oven. If you select the cooktop or oven function as electric, then you will need to hardwire this appliance.
Please see below electrical requirements depending on whether you select gas or electrical appliances:

PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE SELECTED THE PREMIUM OR STANDARD RANGE AS THE ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS VARY
