When installing your VanHome, there are specific requirements to get the VanHome in position and installed on site.
Getting your VanHome into position
In order to get a VanHome in position, we have particular requirements that need to be met. See below:
- Width: When towing the VanHome into position, our delivery drivers require at least 2700mm as the VanHome itself is 2,500mm.
Please Note: This width requirement is dependant on the VanHome and car being on a level surface. If the ground surface is not exactly level, the car or VanHome may tilt with the slope of the ground, which will increase the width required. This is also dependent on the angle in which the VanHome is entering - if the VanHome is entering the property in a diagonal direction, the width requirement may be more.
- Length: Total length required is dependent on the model of VanHome you select, as our models vary in length from 3.6m - 10.6m. You can work out the length requirement of your site by inserting the length of your VanHome in the below formula:
TOTAL LENGH REQUIRED = 6,300mm (Tow Vehicle) + 1200mm (Towing Draw Arm) + total length of the VanHome.
- Height: Total height of our VanHomes is approximately 3,500mm.
Please Note: This is based on the VanHome and car being on an exact level surface. If the surface is not exactly level, the car or VanHome will tilt with the slope of the ground, which will increase the height required.
