VanHome Power

Typically A VanHome will come with 15amp inlets allowing you to connect all your appliances and air conditioning.

Electric Appliances:

Typically, your VanHome will have two 15amp inlets located on the chassis rail. One inlet is for the "power points and lights". The other inlet is dedicated for an air conditioning unit should you choose to fit one. Please be aware that some of the wiring has been done for you, and some will need to be completed by your electrician.

If you have selected electric appliances (such as 4 burner electric cooktop or a free-standing electric cooker) that draw more than the 15amp, your van will typically be set up with a 32amp connection. You will need a 32amp lead made by your electrician and a 32amp plug at the main supply (usually at the main residence). These are an additional cost to the customer as they are typically site-specific.

NOTE: For our standard under bench built-in oven, the current draw is only 10amp and is therefore supplied with a typical 3 pin plug, which plugs into a standard socket.
